I am so mad, because I felt like I got this amazing idea and then I just couldn't execute it at all due to a series of misfortunate events.
But I am submitting it anyways, because gosh darn it, I spent 10 dollars on these glasses and I'll be darned if I don't get my money's worth by at least submitting something.

Original idea was to have in focus glasses with a landscape pictured in the eyes with everything else blurry.
Major Problem 1: I don't know anything about glasses, so when I bought the cheapest ones I could find, I got reading glasses of all things! Which of course don't focus on anything besides really short things. So the landscape was out, and I was instead constricted to taking pictures of only really close things, aka flowers.
Major Problem 2: I could not for the life of me get both the glasses and the image pictured in it both in focus even with apetures of 20 or higher. I should have realized this before I bought the dang glasses, that that wouldn't be possible. So I had to be happy with just the image within the glasses being sharp.

Sigh...

During challenge:Ok, so its not doing terrible afterall. I guess its just hard to like an image when the picture in your mind is so much better =p

I'm so sorry that you aren't happy with your shot but I totally am. It is both well done and cleaver too.

This is a very interesting shot. I like how the flower is in focus and everything else is blurred. I would have liked to had seen the lenses completely clear, it would have made the shot more effective, IMO.
