There's a strange separation between the toy witch and the real background. It looks as though the background has been exceptionally dodged to give it that faded-out effect. I agree that adds some fantasy or whimsy to it, but it makes the toy witch stick out like a sore thumb. You might try burning her (in photoshop, not, like, at the stake) :) to make her look more realistic. |

Very cute shot, but the burning and dodging is kind of extreme. You can achieve that effect better by burning and dodging the original photo and then softening the entire background at once, instead of doing it in reverse order. Nice separation of FG and BG. |
