 What a day! I was driving home from work when I spotted a truck pulled over and the driver was crouched right beside this male pheasant. So I pulled over and grabbed my camera. The pheasant went into the fields but the driver said he would stay in the area. I found an opening in the fence and followed him in the fields for a while. (wishing I'd changed my shoes - heals and farmers fields=not a good combo!!). I managed to capture a few shots before he decided to walk at me! I had my 80-400 lens and couldn't back up far enough to get many good shots! The more I moved away the closer he came! ( I must admit I was kind of scared for a few minutes.) I finally managed to back up enough for a couple more shots before he started to "walk" me to my car! As I drove away he ran after the car!
