 The upper left painting is one of my favorite corners in Toronto, the photo, left center is one of my favorite corners in New Haven CT. The only painting or photo I didn't take or paint is the Matisse in the middle.
Obviously the center is a blank canvas. The lighthouse to right is the Portland Head Light, a tip of the hat to Robert, bear music who ribboned with a photo of this lighthouse recently.

I wish I had done the bulbs a bit better.

Great detail. I think that the lightbulbs in the corners are a great idea, but... I think the busy middle takes away from the shot.

The title is lame. I should be able to find that the corners are important by the photo itself.

When I look at this image, my eye is immediately drawn to the center... the brightest spot... the blank paper. So, I consider that the subject, and it's in the center, not the corner. Where does your eye look?

But, I'm grumpy tonight, so... ignore me if you think I'm wrong.

I absolutely have a fondness for staring at an image of a cluttered studio. the bulb in the bottom left hand corner seems a bit harshly lit but it likely works to keep it visible and it's a nice indicator to start looking for the bulbs in the corners. Neat.

Very nice concept.
The focus isn't really on the corners because of the details variety of the picture.
I think that if the lights were on, the corners would had more impact.
Anyway, I like it, no matter the subject of the challenge.. 8 is OK?
