 Edits in ACR 7.0 (Beta) Crop, shadow recovery, white boost, clarity then to PS6 for resize, sharpen, save for web. All from JPG since PS6 doesn't have Nikon D4 profile for RAW/NEF files.

I knew this wouldn't do well since it's not the standard water drop or high key bird photo but it seemed to me to fit the challenge better than those shots. I'm not in love with the photo at this scale but did have it printed 20" x 30" and it looks great! Hard to appreciate the exposure in a 800 pixel thumbnail. Lesson learned, don't worry about artsy creativity, be my own creative person and love what I do.... because few others will. I suppose there are a handful of folks that do like something different because not all the votes are fours....lol

Could be a good shot, but a bit dark in my opinion. A bit over sharpened too. The lighting is very harsh. A little fill in the right side of her face could have gone a long way. I think the same shot with a little more sunlight could have gone over well.

The hair (I think it is) on the side of her pants annoys me too... it cannot be unseen.

hopefully you haven't been posed like that the whole time you were waiting. you'll have back problems and then i'll have to give you a *real* massage, and you'll be all sore and i'll be tired..... ;-)
