Thank you all! I believe it IS a female adult...though I could be wrong. It was approximately the same size as the adult males, which were black. |

Or, possibly a juvenile. Very good! You have the species id'd correctly, based on the eye and tail. The colors of the adult aren't yet established. Yeah, I think Scooter97 has the right idea about a female Great-tailed Grackle.
