 European Starling, Sturnus vulgaris

On the back of the roan horse. Background is the mane of a palomino.

We have p;enty of starlings here - introduced. I haven't noticed any association between them and livestock. This shot shows up the iridescence very well.

Up here in the mountains, we only find starlings at the horse and cattle ranches. Thanks for your comments.
