 Goal here is the French Revolution, with the face cards losing their heads. The joker is the executioner. The Ace which is both the high and low card is siding with the revolutionaries and hiding from the chopping block.

All the revolutionaries are "odd" BTW. The poor queen is last to go.

This came out pretty much like I envisioned with black and white and grain. It will score poorly :)

maybe a teeny tiny bit bright on espically the 5 card... and then it could be my monitor soo voteing like it's fine but just wanted to tell you the brightness I see

I wonder how many raters really looked at this before rating it. Personally, I think it is brilliant - the equal of some of the other highly rated images. I've been rating between 7 and 10 on this challenge because of the creativity that went into a lot of these images, but this one ranks right up there with what ever wins. Very creative and nicely lighted and composed. By rights, this should be a top three image. Well done.
