Egret babies are so fun to watch as they try to learn how to control their little necks.

With this, from about 70 yards, or about a city block.
It's a Meade,10 inch, 2500mm, f10 mirror scope. It's not as sharp as a "straight through" glass lens, but it has much better reach than anything else in my toy box.

What a set up! Atmospheric conditions, must play a HUGE roll in sharpness levels. I know this from my 500/700mm. But at 2500mm, it must be challenging.
