Thank you. I appreciate the comment very much. I really like rich colors and I think I showed that here. ;)
I do prefer black and white and almost changed it but I saw the colors and changed my mind. |

Thank you, Mr. Cuesta. That means a lot coming from you as I hold your work in very high regard. I was very hopeful on this photo as I spent a lot of time composing it and getting it "right."

It looks a little bit too staged, but I really love the vibrant colors. 6. |

Comes across as twee, contrived, sentimental. Of course it's technically wonderful, compositionally assured, very well lit, etc. etc., but it doesn't do anything for me as photography. Really competent comission work, but lacking any real imaginative fire. I'm sure it will score well however. |

I love the vibrant autumn colors of this shot, they stand out very nicely. I also like that the character is suggested rather than full blown in the shot. There is enough to make it obvious who/what it represents and yet doesnt destroy any preconceived notion of what the character looks like. (if that makes sense). The composition is good, lighting is good, the placement of all the elements excellent. This is my fav of the challenge. |

I wanted to use this motiv in a more distasteful way (showing just the legs with a nametag and the apple), but I didn't have the time.-->I definitely like the idea and the beautiful (color-rich, well-balanced lights/shadows, great positioning) execution. GC |

This is a very good photograph! What keeps it from being *great*, for me, is the clutter/color saturation. There is just too much red in the photo to allow the apple (and arm) to stand out enough to really focus the viewer, in my opinion. I would try a little desaturation of the forest floor and leaves, to help your subject stand out. |
