Great idea. I think it would have been better if the grass in the foreground could have been more in focus - less edited.

I do like shallow DOF when used well, and I like the way it's used here to isolate the poisoned apple yet still allow us to see that Snow White is definitely a modern day girl. 8

At first glance I'm torn on this shot. Yes its depicts a fairytale (Snow White) but something bothers me. I can't quite put my finger on it other than to say I'm in 'fairy mode' at the moment. Excellent image and I'll come back to it later. (currently 7)

Great DOF. I like how it makes the blurred grass (foreground and background)look around the sharp apple. It also makes the model's lips stand out of the backgorund, which adds to the "eating the poisonous apple" idea.

Like it a lot, but the blur looks photoshop'd rather than from the camera which detracts a little. Great work overall though.

Great idea, I like the DOF and the way the apple stands out - I think that if the apple stood out even more, if there were less grass obscuring it, it would be even better.

A bit oversaturated colors and overexposed atleast where the byte in the apple is, otherways a good ideea.

I like your idea, however, the grass looks a little "fake" to me, because of the blur, and the lighting (too bright) doesn't convey the mood very well, but the concept is great and very imaginative.
