 Sort of a clam shell lighting. I had an AB400 with a beauty dish directly below my face and a AB400 with an octobox overhead directly behind the camera. Both are at about 1/8 power because I was so close.

The Mark II is crazy amazing.

I tend to agree with Jeff- the "beauty dish" seems to be defective. Maybe some mascara and deep red lipstick would help. :P Lighting is awesome! I am amazed at the DoF you got from f7.1 also.

That camera makes you a better photog for sure. But they should call it an "ugly" dish though. :) Sweet shot.
