I had three ideas for this image entry. First, fat man cookiebox no milk, Second: empty box of "trojans" showcasing a scene involving a bed (honestly, a coworker planted the idea in my head!), a couple of used wine glasses and a bra, the third being an image that attempts to showcase a sort of timeless emptiness left inside by those who leave us behind.

I was unclear on some of the rules here and did the edit work a bit last minute, i really wanted to rework the numbers on the grave but i thought it may change the image in a way that does not meet the rule requirements so i went with it. Tried a much "older" look keeping this in mind. Hoping to pass the illusion of an old story

I tightened the crop on purpose, i liked the start to finish of it. I also played around a bit with the toning of the image. I don't think i was successful in making it look very old but, i tried to make it vintage-ish without sacrificing anything. I added noise too but it looked really silly so i pulled back on that.

Feel free to critique!

I think that the tight crop hurt your composition (and the score). This type of shot needs some negative space in front of the person, where he looks, not behind him. And you chopped out a part of your foot, DPC does not forgive that :). Also, it feels that the focus was centered on the stone, not on your face. The person is kinda soft, but then you tried to sharpen it and went a little too far (there is a sharpening artifact on the back of the shirt)

Seems i've failed at creating the illusion of an older scene. I did not notice the pants ruffle but i did go out of my way to comb the hair in an older style, pair with a shirt and shoes that i know to be of older origins.

I like how i lit it in the end but meh. keep them opinions coming please they help me a lot

Feels very staged. His grandparents who died 30 years ago?
