 Sometimes it makes sense to go against the conventional wisdom that you should not have the horizon on the middle of the frame. I feel that here breaking that rule of thumb works very effectively.

You are right about the horizon, and about my picture looking like Holland. Interesting how two places can be so different yet so similar. Here is another shot I took at Green Cay Wetlands in Florida a few years ago.

I really like the way the water reflects the sky in this one, and the blues are great. The composition separates sky, land, and water into roughy equal parts, and each is offered in just the right amount. This is one of my favorites. It makes we want to visit!

beautiful! crisp clouds, rich, but not overdone, saturation, reasonable dynamic range, and I like the choice of aspect ratio, also.
