| Nice high contrast, but the contrast doesn't aid the detail. If I had taken such a nice shot I'd have cropped it from the left a bit to get rid of the distracting leaves creeping in, but I haven't taken such a nice shot so I should probably keep my trap shut. |

| Good dark bg, which throws attention to the blossom. I like the look under and through to see the flower parts. Seems like some of the highlights may be pure paper white (with loss of detail). It's hard to tell on some petals. |
