I saw Ralph in his makeup while they were filming. It looked ridiculous, but then onscreen, it looked so real. |

Luscious color for a pinhole, Mae... love the swirls. I too contemplated this image several times during voting. |

Last night when I finished voting, I came back to try to comment on those that I consider "difficult" images -- i.e. images that I looked at and thought about for a long time but couldn't find words for (maybe I'm the English language patient). It was late and I was tired. Words still wouldn't come. It was the second time I contemplated this image, finding its churning blue both enchanting and unsettling at the same time. It was the last image I looked at before giving up and going to bed. I contemplated it in my dreams. Okay, maybe that's going too far. I did have strange dreams though.
Perhaps a piping hot dose of Yirga Cheffe is in order this morning...

I gave this a 6 on my first go around. Back to comment on it. Like the colors and the textures but I wish there was just something more, something to grab my eye or lead it somewhere. I enjoy a good noisy blurry image but I still want it to take me somewhere. |

Great title; great movie. I like the different tones and the abstractness. (voted earlier) |

"Your challenge is to make a photograph that speaks to the artist (you) first, and creates indecision and uncertainty in the viewer."
Success! Indecision, yes. Uncertainty, yes. Intrigue, absolutely? Love it |
