| This image definitely reminds me of Ansel Adams. My only issue is the horizon seems off balance, with the left side being lower than the right. 9 from me. |

| Great idea and potential, but the composition could use some work, including making better use of the wonderful texture in the tree trunk and leveling the horizon. Well seen and excellent potential. |

| Great shot, though I would have loved a little more depth to the clouds. A little burning to the clouds and the sand could have really made this pop in an AA sorta way. |

| Great element of interest in that magnificent tree. Gorgeous ocean and beach with interesting sky above. I like the contrast very much. Maybe the drama could have been enhanced with darker "blues" in the sky and water and a little less darkness in the tree. But, I like the image very much. It's one of my picks for top 10. |
