That's one mean looking bird, this looks like it was a significant crop as there's some detail missing that I'd expect to see. Nice job capturing this moment.

Way too much jpeg compression is giving you some serious blocky artifacts around the edges of the bird. Otherwise a great action shot, but I feel I have to knock off some pointage for the compression problem.
