 not thrilled with this, but since we drove for 2 hours to the beach, I figure I should post the best of the bunch.

Much better to see the full size. This seems to me like a sci-fi/space/alien planet type of image for some reason - the pathway of moon refection the thing that tells me it's not. (Apart from the fact that I know you didn't do any space travel.)

Lovely! Along with the previous comment, I would also suggest cropping either a bit of the sky or some of the sand out so that the horizon line is not directly in the center of the frame.

Full moon rise on the beach is always good! Perhaps a combination of two photos would be nice here. This one for the beach and one with a shorter shutter speed for the moon (which is completely blown out here). Btw. Nice to see the full-sized image!
