 In this shot I wanted to show the face without revealing the identity of the person. I also wanted to show a reflection of the past 1930's Jazz era and thought the black and white was an excellent opportunity.

This shot seemed so much more unique than most of the photos this week, and you got only 4 comments? Wow.. that's ridiculous. It was a personal favorite. Nice work.

I love how the hat blends right into the background and covers the eyes. An excelent shot. 9

I like the contrast of this image.
The attributes tell the background of the person, very good.
Good exposure.
One negative remark: The photographer is visible at the end of the trumpet, a minor flaw. Don't know how to get that out, but something to watch out for in the future.

Excellent composition. The hat adds interest with his head slightly tilted downwards. His white shirt against the black background is a good contrast.
