Right out of the camera. Only cropping. But I took over 300 images before I was happy. Some of the others had better acorn arrangements etc. but the hole didn't look as convincing. So I went with this.

Clever! It captures this time of year perfectly, and the color is great. The lighting is a little off - maybe lighting the foreground more, and less glare on the nuts would have made it just about perfect.

Good focus and lighting on the acorns. I like the fact that you moved your frame a bit off-center as well. I think that a portrait shot instead of the landscape may have felt more "tree-like".
