I really like this picture. I see that you made the biker going into the photo instead of away. That's important to me. I'm also liking the fact that I see the gentle rolling of the road.
I also see that you mentioned that this picture was taken on a overcast day. That made me vote your original down a little (to a 6) without that knowledge.
Overall, I would consider this picture an above average effort.

Thanks to all of you that made the comments and supporting votes. I had no idea I would find such a nice subject when I went out looking. I wish I had got better pictures of him, just wasn't my day.

| One of those few times when a wider shot, to show more of the rolling hills, would actually be desirable. still a good picture. I think frameless would have worked better. |

| Neat shot. The biker's placement in the shot is great, the road ahead! If I had any wish for this shot, it would be to see the road trail off into the distance, but please I know that's asking for the world, so don't worry it. The biker seems ever so slightly out of focus, but not enough to worry over either. Maybe a slightly faster shutter. 9 Swash |

| Like the picture a lot, which reminds me of my own bike touring trips and of the brochures I get from Adventure Cycling Assoc. Wish I could see more of the rollling hills in the background, though. |

| Good use of landscape shot. Feels like I can almost see the road continuing on and on past the bend. What kind of vehicle is this? I sure hope you tell us. Borders don't add or subtract as far as I'm concerned. Looks good here. Nice choice of colors for it. Good shot. Wishing you the best. Torn on the score. PTL. If the colors were bright with a nice blue sky it would be a definite 10. As is it's an 8 or 9. 8 for now and I'll think about it. PTL |

| I like that the picture feels as though it's on eye level with the biker. Good offcenter subject, emphasizing the road. Nice colors. |
