Not keen on your minute minder, but that is a matter of personal taste. A good isea for the challenge, but I do wish your focus was sharper.

Needs sharper focus on the sand. Also clone out the distracting bits in the lower corners. Bits of the hourglass are visible there, and they clutter up your composition. Lighting has some nice drama to it.
