 The picture is of a waterfall called torc waterfall. I didn't want to have an English title (this area is famous for its waterfall and inclusion in some of our mythology) but I didn't think the direct translation of 'torc waterfall' to Irish as 'eas torc' looked very good. So the title became as is, and it translates to 'from boar mountain' after, apparently, one of our mythological heroes killed an enchanted boar. Shame there is no mythological enchantmenting anymore. Our hero's name is Fionn Mac Cumhaill (pronounced 'Fee-un Mac Cool' :P).

Anyway. HDR composition of 5 images between -2 to +2 in steps of 0.6 (I think). Photomatix. Lightroom. Topaz adjust. CS4.

Well, I'm right happy with that score! And that makes two back-to-back 6.5 free study scores. Nothing to sniff at for sure!

I believe this is one of the best waterfall shots I've seen. Just the right balance of earth and water. Love the green.

Our hero had monstrous dogs with human intelligence ... Irish Wolfhounds, no doubt ;-). Appreciate the reminder to poke back through some Irish myths.

So beautiful! I tried to take this kind of shot while on vacation in Hawaii and quickly realized how much skill it takes to do it properly. I never got a great shot unfortunately, but this inspires me to keep trying. Lovely image.
