I really liked this shot. It creates a "feeling" that you don't always see. |

Same here! I thought this pic was good not great...but defiantly not second to last. I really liked the composition. The pic was framed really well. I gave it a 6 I don't post my scores often but this is a pic that voting went astray on. I really like the spot of light coming through the silo and the sky adds great mood. It could have used a little more exposure or some curves. Its not the best DOF but works well with this pic. You did get a comment from graphicfunk so do consider it a good pic. I have learned a lot from comments on this site and I find graphicfunk's some of the best.

I think the silo should have been in focus too. I didnt' rate these photos, but it may not have faired well with me. The background is where the attention is drawn and this is out of focus. I enjoy your work though, so stick to it! |

Oh well...I still love this shot, although I see that it might not be a great travel photo.
I would love more comments to help me out here! |

Returning for comments.
Subdued beauty with a subdued silhoette and the foreground foliage adding more magic. |

i like the compostion, however, the focus seems to be more on the grass in front than anywhere else. |

In most cases it is beneficial to have the object in the forground (tall grass) in focus, however, your background object (silo) has more presence in this image and having it out of focus is very distracting. A slightly different viewpoint to include less of the tall grass I belief would also make this photo better. Nice eye for the sky even if it is obscured by the silo. |

Unfortunately out of focus. That's a great location. A tripod would have allowed you to produce a sharp image. |
