Me, camera, tripod and a very yellow bike went on a photographic trip to a neighbouring village, where this old abandoned house sits. When I was little and in daycare at the house next door, I was fully convinced it was haunted... however, the only thing haunting me today was a gazillion of mosquitoes! :)
Next to the house was this equally abandoned car, the poor thing had even been attacked by falling trees and whatnot.
Three exposures, merged in Photomatix, then some Photoshop as well. Levels, contrast, sharpen, convert to B/W, crop, add frame, and save for web. I had an inner debate with myself over whether to use the frame or not, but decided to stick with it. |
