Greetings from the Critique Club....
Hi Imagineer...
This is an excellent photo and it was one of my 'tens' in this challenge. This photo shows a perfect example of 'beneficial' lens flare. It's hard to achieve when I actually want it. The sun and the flare set a nice mood for this photo. The people seem to be enjoying themselves and relaxing in the warmth of the early morning sun. Maybe this is a group of students waiting for class to begin... having coffee... some last minute studying and dicussion about an exam...
Excellent shot :)

I am surprised that this image did not do better. I thought this was at least in the top 20. Good photo. |

74th! That's ridiculous! Did most voters go blind? |

I think this expresses the challenge topic perfectly, my choice for the blue |

Nice photo. I like the image and the coloring. It may have benefitted from a smaller apeture or a quicker shutter speed. And it may have been a little more interesting to more the angle to include the people more and cut out some of the buildings on the right. Overall, good job. |

A good idea but I'm not sure this shots works as well as it could have. I think that the photographer has tried to include too much in the scene, rather than leave some to the imagination. Always a difficult decission. |

Found myself purposely NOT looking into the sun in this image. Subconciously, I was afraid I could damage my retinas. :-) I've done similar images in black and white and always been fascinated by the halos around peoples' heads; but to capture the rays so spectacularly also - that's just cool. Their impact is even accentuated by the shadows from the chairs. Totally different from all other entries. Nice job. Congratulations. |

The bright spot is blinding but the sun rays are fantastic. Nice catch. |
