 Used hi-pass filter for initial sharpening. Used selected areas of burnt out and applied them in multiply mode. Used burn tool to accent choice areas where detail was lost. Used clone in sky to erase streaks caused by 8 sec exposure. UM

Great exposure and a detailed, featured skyline - even with the high contrast subject (just love that architectural masterpiece, Chrysler building).

More Hudson and less sky would have guilded the lily nicely. : )

Another photo that would have looked much nicer earlier in the evening with some blue in the sky and blue reflected in the water.

Bottom right - weird cloning artefacts? Great technical detailing, enough sense of place to suit challenge, just perhaps lacking real ping - some foreground element might help, give a sense of depth to the image? But very very clean photography, apart from the poor cloning thing.

Excellent skyline. Colors are magnificent but it would be better taken a bit earlier when you could capture the dark blue in the sky.

For some reason the night I went to take a similar photo the lights were off! This is great although I would have liked to see at least a little bit of color in the sky as it is rarely completely dark. The amount of detail you have on the lights is very impressive. 8
