 Lydia's comment was pretty accurate. I knew the flip shot needed more visual pop, but it just wasn't there. So this performed better than I expected. Sports photography is often less than the artistic ideal that scores high here.

I actually thought your one might have been the one that's just one ahead of you in the final rankings.
Not bad at all. I think I would have preferred the same POV for the second image (with the horizon line, etc). All the same it worked well for me.

Great story! I think, though... that the "build up" shot... leads to such a smaller "peak"... leaves me a little disappointed.

I wish the Success shot were larger than the BuildUp shot.


Both are well shot, though... I love the story!
