|Looking through the lens with my finger on the remote trigger, I had no idea this was coming. After 15 or so shots of the moon, I was refocusing and noticed something appear in frame, hit the trigger. When I looked into the sky there was nothing to see. So I hurried inside and downloaded to have this, (to me) one in a million shot.
Wrote a friend that works at Gulfstream and he believes it is a Gulfstream 450. He told me they usually cruise at 41,000 feet/520 mph. All I know is that it was hauling the mail, no sound, no contrails, invisible for all but a second.
Note: I wish I knew how to do all the fantastic things I see on this site, Guess I'm just old school, pretty much out of the camera shots, little crop here, little contrast there but that's about all. After all, what could one do with this type photo. It is what it is. To me, this photo is Zen.
