Yup. It's a fake bird. I had one day left, tried an experiment in the afternoon. Took a very large mirror out of a frame, put it outside on the grass, and ran a hose down it.

This is a wooden bird ornament that I bought up in Massachusetts when my family and I visited Bear and Penny.

I thought "what would be my ultimate zen shot?" and it would be a heron, standing incredibly still in moving water. Long exposure to blur the water and not the bird.

(not possible, btw. Even when they're standing still, it's not still enough to get the shot. I've tried. :)

So I thought I'd be silly and see what I could do.

Didn't expect much from it -- but it was fun experimenting. Though I think I watered the street more than my lawn when doing this.
