The bowl isn't actually glass, it's plastic/acrylic but the water bulb is glass so I guess it's ok. :)

I got the bowl at a thrift store for $2.00. It "folds up" sort of. I recently saw a metal one just like it at an art gallery for a lot more than $2.00. LOL

Both pieces of glass are beautiful, and they are well photographed. The combination of the two, though detracts from the overall effect. The image would be stronger if you photographed one piece or the other, not both.

who knew a water bulb and a bowl could be so interesting. (im assuming that this is a fruit bowl of some sort). great job of isolating the subjects with the black background, while most chose the bright white background for these shots, I find the black to lend itself to a much more polished and profesional looking image.
