"Critique Club Comment"
COMPOSITION- Beautiful composition. It is framed well with just enough below and above. Great color and nothing too distracting. Reflections are great.
BACKGROUND- Nothing super distracting in it. The boats in the background are perfect. The clouds look really neat. They look kind of painted into the sky.
CAMERA WORK- Great DOF and Shutter speed. Everything is sharp and nice. A polarizor might have been nice to bring out more blue in the water and sky.
DIGITAL PROCESSING- done great, no compression or the like.
MY OPINION- This is a beautiful shot. It fits travel nicely, on the water. I like the reflection. For some reason water shots are usually my favorite, I just like rushing water or any type of water. |

The top half of the photo looks just a little bit over-exposed to me - the white of the big boat and the boats in the backgroud is very bright. I'd prefer not to see the shoreline at the front as I feel it detracts from the photo. Good colors, focus, and composition otherwise. |

Wow, gorgeous picture! While a moored boat isn't quite my idea of travel, I do get the idea and the reflection would have never been as nice in motion, so I like it. Small nit: the mast reflection is grounded, a slightly different angle would have placed the end of the mast in the water, complete. 9 Swash |

It seems to be a nice place and a nice time of year but the picture isn't very interesting. The symmetry between the boat and its reflection actually makes the picture more static than need be. |

Now here is a wonderful 1000 piece puzzle if I ever saw one. Great reflections of the clouds and boats both. Only thing I don't like about it is the dark in the bottom left hand corner. I know you wanted as much of the reflection of the boat as possible, but I wonder if the dark is worth it. Personally I would have cropped the dark out, rather than have it spoil an otherwise perfect picture. Man I hate that dark spot. But I still like the shot and it's worth a 9. PTL I really want to give a 10 but can't. I hate that dark spot........ |

Great work - the white is perhaps just a little harsh but that could be the monitor I'm using. Otherwise though this is a great photo |
