 Experiment in shooting from the hip. Walking down Ste-Catherine Street in Montreal, I held my cakera in my hand, around thigh high, and shot trying to get some interresting angled shots. This was my favorite.

Shot using the kit lens @ 18mm. RAW mode, with Exp increased slightly (1/2 stop). Ran it through NI.

In PS7: lomoized, cropped, USM, and Gaussian Blur.

The lighting on this is so cool! I'll have to remember to come back and see if any post-processing was done (NeatImage, maybe?)... this just looks very striking.

Good angle/perspective.. It's too bad the sky is blown out. Nice photo but it doesn't convey the sense of shopping to me. Maybe if they were carrying shopping bags or were near a display window.

i really like your shot. it has a great urban feel to it. probably not the typical travel guide shot, but it doesn't matter to me. 10 all the way.

This would make a great marketing photo. I love the tilt, the exposure, the overall "feel" of the various elements in the photograph. Good luck in the challenge!
