My favorite shot of the whole session. I know that many people don't like the prayer position of the hands (don't hesitate to lodge your own opinion either way). I wanted to shoot an available light composition and this shot turned out to be my favorite out of the whole set. The prayer position of the hands was the first thing I thought of once he got into the light. I decided to convert this to black & white as I wanted the light to play a stronger role and felt that the colors detracted from the composition. It may not be an inspiring shot but it rejuvenated me because I finally put something together and then shot it the way I saw it in my head.

technically a great shot, even the light coming through the window lights his fingers which is a nice touch, intended or not. however, he doesn't look too focused on praying, it makes the whole theme a little confusing.. but overall, good stuff!

I love how the light from his t shirt shines back up onto his face and makes it glow. The curve of his back and hair really makes this one stand out. Did you have a reflector behind him? Really a nice location you found.
Personally, I think it would have been more versatile if he had been kick boxing or shadow dancing instead of praying.
