thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. @ nam, bobnospum, abra - The shot is pretty much straight out of camera; I was going for a 'pure' street photography shot with no PP, not even a crop. Maybe B&W would have worked better, and, tiny the other shot would almost definitely have scored higher. What I get for making decisions an hour before cut off time (4 a.m. here!) |

WONDERFUL moment and emotion. I agree with abra and others that a tighter crop taking from right and bw conversion would have been very effective. Also agree that this was very much under-rated. I was a 6 but could easily have bumped a lot if it hadn't felt kind of washed out. |

the one you didn't put on was much better,in my opinion. |

Made me kiss-and-make-up with my wife, just not to have to face something remotely similar. Very powerful. Thanks. |

Wow this is a moment. I hope they had a happy ending. The emotion captured here is so raw that it hurts. |

I think a tight crop to the couple is what is the story in this imgage. The street scene here adds very little and detracts from the story. Alternately a wider aperature could have blurred the background more to isolate them. |

You’ve captured some great emotion here. But I feel some of this has been lost with the composition and processing. For me the central composition makes the image feel unbalanced and the oversaturation of the background colours is distracting. I wonder if the image was cropped to lose most of the right hand part of the image and converting to b&w may have accentuated the emotion of the couple more. A nice street shot never the less. |

Good emotion, devoid of most of the distraction of city life. |

Good timing... it seems he's becoming aware of the camera. Hope they made up. |

I love this capture. Always a challenge when intruding on someones private moments. Would love to see this in black and white. |
