Challenge: Free Study 2012-08 (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Canon EOS-60D
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Location: Milton Freewater
Date: Aug 25, 2012
Aperture: 22
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1
Date Uploaded: Aug 27, 2012

Took this out while camping. It is a merge of two separate pictures. One taken at 1 second, and 1 taken at .2 of a second. I used the faster shutter speed for the trees, and the longer for the water.

I love the composition and I don't think it's the colors bother me that much. Very interesting contrast of textures between rocks, water and trees - might be even more emphasized in b&w.

i think the hdr you used to pull out the trees AND get the flowing river gave an odd tone to the foreground rocks...but still a lower score than i'd have expected. nice to see you entering dude.

lovely location and nicely composed - but the image seems overly processed, especially the rocks that are now purple/ blue in tone

The crispy sharpness makes and the overly blue coloring make this shot look a little overcooked in PP. Good composition and I like that the stream goes back to the brighter light spot giving a focal point.
