I live around train tracks. I wondered what I could do to punch up this picture. I thought about it for a while and decided what would make the tracks more interesting and that was done by adding a guitar. I play the guitar and thought this would be an interesting arty shot. Clearly art is subjective. I am doing this to please myself and I like this shot. This was done about 1/2 before sunset, and the sun had just gone behind a cloud. The camera was placed on a tripod. I took over 50 shots and liked this one the best. I was on manual settings with my Canon 30D. I live in the mountains so it may appear lopsided but in fact it is straight.

The title kills this image. Where's the owner of this guitar? Why isn't he/she sitting on the track strumming their broken heart away? This is just a snapshot. No editing at all. Looks like your camera was set on automatic or you used your phone? Here's an idea: Get an old man with aged hands holding the guitar as if he's playing, and set him on the tracks. Use a wide angle lens and crop in close on the picking hand and allow image to flow out following the tracks. Aim the neck of the guitar away from the camera like the tracks moving away from the viewer. How about a homeless looking person carrying the guitar over his shoulder walking away from the camera? Try some imagination.
