cool. i had a similar idea, then ended up doing something else. the tomato seems too rendered somehow.

I'd have liked to see some of the shiny peel for contrasting texture. The shadow is strange somehow. The tomato itself "reads" blurry even though it looks crisp along the edges.

I suspect you've already had comments about how a thinner slice would have been more dramatic. I really like the small, wet 'feet' at the front.

Like your title and likeness of tomato. Especially like the slimy trail! Nice touch.

This is a nice piece in my opinion. Focus is a touch soft for me, but the backlighting is very evident, and I love the little trail of fluid. I would suggest that maybe a kidney bean, or some other type of prop be used on the left side of the tomato to give the subject more of a "snail" appearance.

funny shots are always well received, and this one looks great. May be a little over sharpened (left side of tomatoe).
