I know this will get slaughtered by the anal-ytical voters who don't appreciate sardonic humour, but I like it so it's in.

This guy sat out front of the fence at Ground Zero and played Amazing Grace all day, and it seemed to me that he's there regularly. I don't know if you've been to Ground Zero or not, but if you're like me and you can hear ghosts, I would strongly caution you against going. I haven't had a moments peace since i was there, and that was three days ago. There are a lot of tortured souls still there.

I'm serious.

Someday maybe I'll write about it.

Great shot P. I just realized this guy is familiar. A friend of mine recently took a similar shot. I like yours a lot. //bobjagendorf.smugmug.com/gallery/241358/1/10259571/Medium

I think its a great photo, but more then that, one that tells a story. Thanks so much for entering that photo. A photo of the skyline may have done better in voting, but this is so much more telling and emotive.

This has got to be one of the most moving recent images of Ground Zero I've seen, I can feel the ghosts. Am adding it to my favourites so I can come back to it and remember.

This photo was my favorite in the challenge and should have done much better. Maybe you wouldn't see it in a travel guide, but it certainly depicts NYC. IMHO the legs in the foreground make the shot.

I can't believe this didn't break 6! It was one of my favorites in the challenge. I suppose it just wasn't great for "travel guides"

Something not quite right about the "framing" by the two sets of legs. It breaks up the scene, which is interesting. Nice sharpness, though.

The highlighting was probably done in PS, but I love it! This picture really brings the subject into focus and lends emotion to the image. Excellent use of b&w and DOF.

Dont know if this photo would make me want to go to NYC. But the photo it self is a great photo. Very well done. Great job.

Great shot. Not sure it would be at home in a travel guide though.

It's an interesting street photo, but does not entice me to come to visit.

great street photography scene. The lighting on the musician is excellent, but I would have preferred the scene without the legs in front of him

I'll probably never see such a (ironic) picture in a travel guide, but it's a great photograph.
