In future, there shall be a research lab dedicated to revive the extinct flora to regain the lost paradise due to human greed. This photograph is my humble attempt to create the scenario in present times when a plant is generated artificially and the process of monitoring it's growth pattern in controlled environment with electronic aid for plant growth.

I have used DVD Player circuit board for electronic circuit, Mint leaves for plant and wet wheat dough for providing support to the plant and replicate plantation base. Tea dust is duplicated for soil.

Levels, color fill, Brightness/Contrast were adjusted, silver FX used for B/W effect.

Greetings from the Critique Club:

Three 10s and a good number of 7+ scores, you hit a number of people's sweet spots with this shot. It's executed pretty well and your selective desaturation is done with great precision. Is it necessary though? The scene may have worked better if you had allowed the plant to merge with the board through shared coloration.

Your depth of field and associated precise focus is highly effective and isolates the plant well. Well enough not to need the desat for emphasis.

Overall, this is effective and well executed but the desat is a polariser.

Oh awesome! Love this. I dont like the selective desaturation though. I think a green circuit board woudlve worked well looking like a plant in the wrong kind of jungle. Still, I give it a 9

Nice idea - interesting that this actually justifies selective desat! Rare, that.

Fur sure. :D
