Waaaay underrated.
I like the effect looking through the graffiti.
The viewer needs to take more than just a quick glance to really appreciate this shot.
Nice work! |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I saw the graffiti and then my brain saw through it, into the area beyond. I really enjoyed that moment and once you see it, it is puzzling how the brain took so long to find it. The muted colours of the graffiti make so much sense once we discern the mesh and there is just enough interest in the space beyond to keep our eyes busy - the real payoff come from the fictional structures that are created by the overlap, like the 'stairs' towards the left edge of the image.
Critical stuff: No
Overall: Splendid find, splendidly conveyed.
