My Opinion Composition A good idea that didn't quite come off Maybe if you could have stopped the motion of at least one person or got the background more focused. But it does meet the challenge.

I don't think so - you've used rotation - which makes your composition very unusual. Both this and the motion blur make me feel really uneasy (dizzy?)

Too blurry.

Very creative!

Yeah, but you need to move it up a touch to make the handrail fall exactly on the 1/3-line...seriously funny, and might have been even more effective if the rectangular displays in the background weren't there

Unusual escalator picture. I never would have thought to turn it like this. Since I really don't like it, I know why. It's different though I gotta give you that. - Inspzil

Too blurry for me with not real reason for it. If they are leaning back because it is going up hill then the photo should show them straight and the train or what ever going up hill....Doesn't appeal to me at all. 1 PTL

This is an Excellent image! Unfortunately there are DPC folk out there that will ding points off you because it is blurred, not dayglo colour, weird angle or something foolish like that. And those are the Exact reasons among many that I believe this is awonderful work. The blur fits the rush of modern travel perfectly. Your choice of angle adds drama and accentuates action. The B&W goes well with the common ratrace situation. But your vision has raised the ordinary into something extraordinary. And so you certainly deserve merit in the top ten. I hope you get many other positive comments from other voters. I am going to give you a 10 to compensate those other people who will give you the instant one second 3 vote. Please remain loyal to your fantastic insight. Your work is excellent.

I had to look at it sideways for a second! Really neat picture.
