| although I love the colors, there is too much in this shot that is black. Cropping in on part of the shot might have helped. |

| Admittedly a hard shot to get. If your camera has an ISO adjustment, try shooting at ISO 50 or 100 with a slightly longer exposure. |

| Why so grainy? This picture is dominated too much by black. The shapes in the horizon added to the picture, but not the huge black cloud. I notice what looks like an oil-rig in the background. Did you try a shot with just the rig and the sunset? I have seen many great shot in magazine like that. |
