| Hi there! So there is some one else living here in Japan!! Good shot, I get it, but I am sure most other people won't!! I took a picture of the lions that visit the houses and try to bite the children (rids them of evil spirits) on New Years Day. However decided not to submitt it cause I thought no one would get it! Good Luck in the challenge. By the way, did you also do the Sakuragicho travel shot? |

| a wonderful way to express the new year. beautiful composition and lighting. Love the black background against the whites and reds, and the orange add enough of contrast to add further interest. |

Interesting subject.
Like the composition. Good DOF & focus.
Could perhaps use a more diffused light from the left and an extra, less powerful light from the right to fill the shadows. But as it is a good pic.
