I was happy that I was able to get one person in the right spot but I also like the peek in from the guy on the left.

Wow, this finished higher than I thought it would. I loved the crop suggestion from the comments. I am a terrible cropper and could not decide what to do about all the hands on the left.

I love this shot. So much going on, but such a strong focal point. Just missed the top ten, but that means number one on the second page. Congrats on the PH bling.

I think I like the hands being included, as well. Was this the one that was doing so well in voting or do you have another great one brewing?

Wow what a capture, congrats on the bling Michelle!
I think you did right keeping the hands...

This is so good. Just missed the top 10 but in a very strong field of images, this shot really shines (as does the cheerleader's smile). Well done!

This was one of my top picks in the challenge, with the other being MAK's. Excellent candid - truly a great spirit to this shot.

I deeply love this image. The isolation if an individual in a crowd. The archetype of the cheerleader shifted to a unique individual whom you can not dismiss as an archetype. Great capture.

Nice idea to frame your subject around all of that excitment. Your photo seems to capture the excitment. Glad you didn't get trampled by the offensive line :)

I feel a different crop, one just below the cross bar (just on top of #70's helmet), would have really focused the photo on the young lady. ... Or is the focus meant to be the person peeking out from behind the cheerleader?? A dual-portrait portrait! Tres-cool! That's just, like, my opinion, man.

Good b/w conversion.

Well-framed. This works for the challenge - good b/w IMO too.

Great catch! One of the best at getting the "in their environment" part of this challenge.
