 Had this idea for a month or so...and thought it would work with the song "Sun King"
I left my house about 4:00 A.M. to get to the Jersey shore for sunrise. Thankfully there was not a lot of people on the beach to see the wierdo (me!) with wings kneeling in the water with his hands up in the air!
Two Asian women actually stopped to watch. They were very interested in the whole thing. One even tried on my homemade wings.
The wings are made from cardboard then tied around my sholders and waist. You can barely see the rope on my chest in the shot .. One wing flipped back from the wind on my first shot and I had to reverse the whole thing....it held for the rest of shots...luckily, as this was one of my last shots.

I really wanted to remove the plane exaust, and talked with someone else on it...we both thought it may be OK, but I saw a recent DQ thread where the SC said if you can see it in the thumbnail...and remove it..it may DQ...sooooo I left it in.

I can't believe this scored a 5.89... IMO it should be in the TT. Good effort Tom, next time the score will be better :)

did you know that wings are structurally analagous to arms? think about it.

alex, nice obscure song choice better than good day sunshine etc, i like this but id like a stronger silhouette rd the hands and the red the bleed in from the sun detracts from his solar regal aspirations ;) .
