 For 2012 Photo a week. Theme "Underfoot"

Stepped out of the front door to get the newspaper, but went back to get the camera. I felt the image needed to be rotated, but that would have led to a lot being cropped, so I decided to make a feature of the rotation instead. Applied Topaz Simplify to decrease detail, then curves to increase contrast.

Wonderful editing and presentation, I think you made a good choice with the rotation. (Hope your newspaper wasn't under this).
