 Camo Cat, shot using an antique Bausch & Lomb 3 inch (78mm) f1.8 cinema projector lens held against the lens mount of my Nikon. It came from a projector that was broken into pieces at the local scrap yard. I didn't even clean it up.
Focus is at about 8 or nine ft, and that's all there is since there is no way to focus it. I just move in or out until I see focus then shoot. The bokeh is pretty nice with this lens, and DOF is portrait shallow too, which I do like.
Maybe I will attach a mount to it someday. It's interesting that it can't focus to infinity because it hits the camera body when focus range is around 8 or 9 ft.
This is cropped to about 1/8 of the frame to eliminate all the other clutter that was around her.
Maybe I will try this lens reversed, and see if it can do macro that way.
Edit: Dark end of levels down some, brighten 1/2 stop, crop.

I tried a similar shot with my father's 16 mm telephoto lens, no go.
