Thanks for the comment, although on my monitor I can see plenty of detail in the petals - are you sure yours isn't too bright? :-)

The light is coming from behind the petals = BACKLIT.

NIce colors, nice composition. The one spot on the bottom-left petal is a bit distracting. Black background is great. Light ge=reen border is "ok"

Everything was so clear and distinct, and in focus, and full of contrast. Well composed. But, what the heck was that little dark fleck of dirt on the bottom petal to the left? Drove me crazy. Nice image though. Congratulations and good luck with the challenge.
